Pudhina Thogayal | Pudhina Chutney for Rice | Mint Thogayal | Mint Chutney for Rice



Ingredients:

Mint leaves | Pudhina leaves - 3 handful

Shredded Coconut - 3 handful

Tamarind

Channa Dal - 1 spoon

Urad Dal - 1 spoon

Red chillies - 5

Hing (Optional)

Salt and little oil for frying


Preparation:

1. In a kadai, add a few spoons of oil. Saute channa and urad dhal till golden brown. Along with this saute Red chillies as well. Remove and set aside. Allow it to cool down.

2. In the same kadai, add the mint leaves and saute well. Allow it to cool down.

3. Once all the above cools down, run channa dal, urad dal, red chillies, salt and hing.

4. Add mint leaves, required tamarind and shredded coconut and run to a coarse paste.

5. Tasty Pudhina Thogayal | Pudhina Chutney for Rice | Mint Thogayal | Mint Chutney for Rice is ready. Serve with hot rice.

You can also have this along with idli/dosa.




Notes:

1. Adjust coconut, mint leaves, and tamarind as per your taste.
