Pani Poori



Pudhina Chutney:

Ingredients:

Pudhina leaves- 1 bunch

Coriander Leaves - more than 1/2 bunch

Pepper - 1 spoon

Jeera - 1 spoon

Red Chillies - 4

Garlic - 4 or 5 pods

Salt


Preparation:

1. Add little water and grind the above to a thick paste.


Peas Masal / Patani Masal:

Ingredients:

Raw peas - 100 gms

Potato - 2 

Garam Masala - 1 spoon

Red Chilli Powder - 1 spoon

Above prepared thick pudhina chutney - 2 or 3 ladles or as per your taste


Preparation:

1. Pressure cook raw peas and potato. Once done mash up potatoes lightly.

2. To the above, mix the above-prepared pudhina paste,garam masala, red chilli powder, and salt.

OR

2. Alternatively, mix cooked mashed potatoes, finely chopped onions, green chillies or red chilli powder, garam masala, jeera powder, salt and chopped coriander leaves.

3. Heat/boil the mixture slightly for some time and switch off. Add water if required before heating.

4. Patani Masal is ready.








Karam Pani:

Ingredients:

Tamarind water - one small lemon size

Red chilli powder - 1 spoon

Garam masala - 1 spoon

Pudhina paste - 4 or 5 ladles

Salt


Preparation:

1. Mix all the above and check for spiciness. Add whatever is required as per your taste or preference.

2. Heat or Boil the above mixture slightly. As soon as you see slight bubbles or smoke, switch off the stove. Do NOT overboil.

3. Karam Pani is ready.





Sweet Pani:

Ingredients:

Tamarind water - one small lemon size

Red chilli powder - 1 spoon

Garam masala - 1 spoon

Pudhina paste - 4 or 5 ladles

Jaggery - 5 to 8 spoon

Salt


Preparation:

1. Mix all the above and check for the spiciness. Add whatever is required as per your taste or preference.

2. Heat or Boil the above mixture slightly. As soon as you see the slight bubbles or smoke, switch off the stove. Do NOT over boil.

3. Sweet Pani is ready.


Pani Poori:

Ingredients:

Onion - 1 finely chopped

Carrot - 2 grated (Optional)

Coriander Leaves -finely chopped

Poori (Small)


Preparation:

1. On a plate, take a few pooris and make small holes.

2. Fill in the above-prepared peas masala

3. Fill in karam pani and sweet pani as per your taste

4. Fill in chopped onions, grated carrots, and finely chopped coriander leaves.

5. Relish the tasty Pani Poori !!!
