Ingredients:
Onion - 2
Tomato - 2
Cauliflower - 1
Turmeric powder - 1/2 spoon
Chilli Powder - 1 to 2 spoons (if required)
Salt
Coriander leaves
For Grinding:
Coconut - 4 spoons
Cashew - 8 to 10
Poppy Seeds - 1 tbsp
Garlic - 3
Onion - 1
Pottu Kadalai - 1 tbsp
Cardamom - 3
Cinnamon - 1 inch
Cloves - 3
Green chillies - 3 to 4
Red Chillies - 3
Coriander Seeds - 1 spoon
Preparation:
1. Grind the above-mentioned items in a mixie and set them aside.
2. Blanch the cauliflower (cut into florets) and set aside. In hot water, add little turmeric, and salt and put the washed and cut florets and set aside for 5 mins. This will remove all the impurities from the cauliflower.
3. In a kadai, add oil and saute chopped onion.
4. Add chopped tomatoes and saute them till mushy.
5. Once the onion and tomatoes turn soft, add the ground paste, turmeric powder, required salt, required water, and chilli powder, and saute well.
6. Once the raw smell goes off, add the florets, add the required water and cook further.
7. Once it all comes together to kuruma consistency, add chopped coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
8. Tasty Cauliflower Kuruma for Dosa is ready.
9. When you prepare dosa, spread the Cauliflower Kuruma inside the dosa, fold and flip and cook and serve.
