Tomato | Thakkali Juice | Gravy - No Coconut



Ingredients:

Tomatoes - 3

Garlic - 4 small pods

Pottu kadalai / Fried gram - 2 spoons

Red chilies - 3

Salt

Mustard and Coriander leaves for seasoning


Preparation:

1. In a mixie first grind pottu kadalai, red chilies, and salt. Give it a run. Add chopped tomatoes and run them to juice consistency.

2. Crush garlic and keep aside.

3. In a kadai, add a few spoons of oil, splutter mustard seeds and saute crushed garlic till you get a nice aroma.

4. Add the above-ground tomato juice and boil it to a slurry consistency.



5. Add chopped coriander leaves and switch off.

6. Tasty Tomato | Thakkali Juice /gravy is ready. Serve hot as an accompaniment to Idli, Dosa, Chappathi, Ragi Adai | Rotta.
