Ingredients:
China Grass - 1 strip
Sugar - 1 cup
Water - 3 cups
Kesar powder - a pinch
Preparation:
1. Chop China Grass into small pieces using scissors. Measure it using a cup.
2. In a vessel, add water 3 times the chopped china grass measurement and boil it.
3. Add the chopped china grass pieces and stir until it is completely dissolved.
4. Once the china grass is completely dissolved, add sugar, kesar powder and continue to stir and boil for 10 more mins.
5. Do not boil for more time otherwise halwa will become thick. Just take a spoon and pour it over the plate and it shouldn't move in a free-flow manner. However, it will still be in a liquid state.
6. Pour it on a plate and allow it to cool down.
7. Once it cools down, cut them into pieces and serve.
8. Tasty China Grass Halwa is ready.
