Moong Dal | Paasi Parrupu for Chappathi


Ingredients:

Moong dal - 1/4 cup

Onion - 2

Tomato - 3

Garlic - 3 to 4 pods

Chili powder - 1 spoon

Garam masala - 1 spoon

Kasuri methi - 1 spoon

Salt, Jeera

Coriander leaves


Preparation:

1. Pressure cook moong dal / paasi parrupu for 3 to 4 whistles

2. In a kadai, heat a few spoons of oil, add jeera and saute

3. Add chopped or crushed garlic and saute. Add chopped onions and saute. Add chopped tomato and saute.

4. Once all the above blends well, add chili powder, garam masala, and salt and saute well.

5. Add the cooked dal and boil it well.

6. Add crushed kasuri methi before switching off and sprinkle chopped coriander leaves.




7. Tasty Moong dal | Paasi Parrupu is ready. Serve it as an accompaniment for chappati or roti.
