 Mocha Avarakai Sundal

Ingredients:

Mocha Avarakai - 100 gms

Green chillies - 2 nos.

Shredded Coconut

Curry and Coriander leaves

Lemon Juice - 1 spoon

Salt


Preparation:

1. Pressure cook Mocha Avarakai for 4 whistles

2. Finely chop Green Chillies or give a run in the mixie to a fine coarse 

3. In a pan, pour a few spoons of oil, splutter mustard seeds and add curry leaves and coarsely ground green chillies. Saute for a while.

4. Add cooked Mocha Avarakai and salt and stir it for a while.

5. Add chopped coriander leaves and saute. Switch off the flame. Add lemon juice as per your taste and shredded coconut and stir/mix once again.

6. Tasty Mocha Avarakai sundal is ready, Serve hot.


Note:

1. Can be consumed as sundal or can be eaten as poriyal for rasam or curd rice.
