Sadhuram Chikidi Kai Urugai | Sadhura Avarakai Urugai


Ingredients:

Sadhuram Chikidi Kai | Sadhura Avarakai - 1 padi

Fenugreek Seeds - 1 teaspoon

Red Chillies

Jeera

Hing

Lemon Juice

Gingelly Oil & Mustard seeds


Preparation:

1. Cut the sides of Sadhuram Chikidi Kai | Sadhura Avarakai, wash and pat dry it.

2. Cut Sadhuram Chikidi Kai | Sadhura Avarakai into pieces 1 inch long.

3. In a kadai, add little oil and saute fenugreek seeds, Jeera, Red chilies, and hing till you get a nice aroma.

4. Grind the above coarsely in a mixie.

5. Add the above-ground powder along with the required salt over the cut pieces of Sadhuram Chikidi Kai | Sadhura Avarakai.

6. Squeeze lemon juice over the above and mix well.

7. In a tadka, add gingelly oil and splutter mustard seeds. Once the oil cools down, pour it over the Sadhuram Chikidi Kai | Sadhura Avarakai and mix well.

8. For the next 2 days, keep stirring it once. After 2 days, Sadhuram Chikidi Kai | Sadhura Avarakai gets set.










9. Tasty Sadhuram Chikidi Kai Urugai | Sadhura Avarakai Urugai ready. Relish it along with curd rice.
