Quick Paruppu Podi | Powder | Pappula Podi

Ingredients:

Pottukadalai / Fried Grams - 1 cup

Garlic - 4 pods

Red chili powder

Salt


Preparation:

1. Grind pottukadalai / fried gram to a fine powder.

2. In a kadai, add very little oil and sauté crushed garlic till light brown. Keep the flame low while doing this. Once done switch off the flame.

3. In the same kadai while it is still hot (after switching off the flame), put the grounded pottu kadalai / fried gram powder, red chili powder, and salt and mix well.

4. After mixing well, once again put the above in a mixie and give it a run. Adjust red chili powder and salt as per your taste.

5. Tasty Paruppu Podi | Pappula Podi is ready. Eat it along with rice mixed with ghee.


Notes:

1. Increase or decrease garlic as per your taste.

2. You can grind this without garlic as well.

3. Crush the garlic before sautéing it .
