Pachi Chaaru - No Cook Rasam

Ingredients:

Coriander leaves - one handful

Small onions - 7

Green chilies - 3

Coconut - 1 spoon

Pottu kadalai / Fried Gram - 1 tablespoon

Tamarind water, Jaggery, Salt

Mustard, hing, and Jeera for seasoning


Preparation:

1. In a mixie, grind coconut, fried gram, and green chilies to a coarse powder. Just one run is enough. Set aside.

2. Grind coriander leaves, and small onion coarsely. Just one run is enough. Set aside.

3. Add both the above to diluted tamarind water mixed with jaggery and salt. Do NOT keep it on the stove. This is a NO COOK rasam.

4. Season the rasam with spluttered mustard seeds and spluttered jeera and hing.





5. Tasty Pachi Chaaru is ready. Serve with rice.
